Everywhere you go around NYC there are big signs use expressways not Parkways, route 15 is the major one running down with the i95 No Vehicle over 8' high is permitted, even getting caught on the slip road could result in a $500 plus fine

Bridge height are misleading because they are measured from the centre of the vehicle hub, not the road.... Hence you go under 12' 6" bridges.... Eh, Garvs?

How correct you are Mr D,Bridges signed in New York are from the centre of the Hub upwards unless stated as Actuall Height. The Parkways are no no for Any commercial traffic including light vans as the bridges are actuall heights.

I must admit even though ive been under these bridges which are signed, i still get a little twitch in the lower regions,as in Boston the clearance seems to be extremely limited. There have been times ive even bottled it and took another route.Like i say though, the Parkways are a no no. I suppose its one way to see if you have recovered from your heart problems Gremmie Lol
