Hi, I am a teacher currently teaching in the UK and am considering relocating to the UAE. My partner is a HGV driver and I am wondering if there would be any jobs for him if he were to come with me? Having gone through the posts it looks like the main place for drivers to relocate to is Canada, however I wouldn't be able to earn/save as much in Canada which is the main reason for us moving. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thank you

He will not find any driving jobs in the Middle East as they are all done by Indians & Pakistanis at a very low wage.
If you are considering moving to the UAE you need to do some research, one you will find it very difficult to survive if both of you come on your wage alone. Two you say your partner, so I take it you are not married, then you will not be able to live together here and will be locked up for co-habiting and having sex outside of marriage if caught!!!
As I said do the research, plenty of knowledgeable people on the Middle East section who will provide advice.

Yes it is, and you can easily get locked up for it. Although looking at the amount of gay fillipino`s here you would not have thought so!!!!!!
