Default europes buggered...is canada any better

hi ..ive been driving euro routes for the last 23 years and have become very disillusioned, and ive decided to head out canada way for a piece of the action..my intention is to work away for 2-5 years ,mostly just for the adventure, my family have all grown up and have flown the nest,so im intending to travel and live in the truck....has anybody any suggestions as to rules for taking a non driving wife on his travels..also any reliable companies who would need this type of driver.....hope you guys can put me in the picture....thanks R

There are a few rules about taking a non driving partner out on the road. They will be asked to sign an insurance waiver by the company. Also when going into the US, they will need to be listed on the customs e-manifest. Don't forget to buy some good travel insurance such as Blue Cross. If you are going to "Live-aboard", try and work for a company that has a well equipped home-base with showers , laundry, internet, kitchen-lounge-tv room.
