driver for harvesting season

Hi

What is the process of getting a semi truck license if you go over to Canada on a temporary workers permit?

I have the opportunity to help a farmer during harvesting driving trucks.

But for that i Need to get a License, Im fro m South Africa so my current license 9 since 2008) cannot be converted to Canadian license.

I also did some driving in USA last year and my CDL expired Sept last year, it can still be renewed in USA as its not a year since expiry, can this be converted to canadian?

thanks

You ave to pass a canadian CDL test even if you have an american CDL. It doesnt transfer, you will also need a temporary work permit of some kind to work on a farm.
If you american Car ;license has expired likely have to take your car test first then your air brake then your actual CDL test
