PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS WANTED
Classic Freight is both a US and Canadian Bonded Carrier that specializes in providing service in flatbed, over-dimensional and intermodal transportation throughout Canada and the US. Classic is currently recruiting drivers for our Flatbed Division.

We Offer
• Competitive weekly salary and benefits (pay per mile; pay per pick-up/delivery; pay per tarping; pay per layover; pay over-dimensional premium; pay per border crossing)
• Pay during training period
• Assistance with finding suitable, affordable accommodations
• Airline expenses to Nova Scotia
• Assistance in acquiring NS qualifications (S.I.N., NS Class 1 Driver’s License, etc.)
• Will provide a Labour Market Opinion
• Initial coaching and continued support

The Job
• Long-haul, open deck trucking (runs are typically 5 to 14 days in duration)
• Typical loads involve transporting products such as pipe, steel and concrete structures, building materials and machinery
• Specific skills include load securing (strapping/chaining), tarping, communicating with dispatch & customers, driving vehicle safely, conducting pre- & post-trip vehicle inspections, completing log books & monitoring vehicle performance.

•Minimum of four years’ experience as a truck driver (flat deck industry preferred)
• Class 1 driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract or insurance driving record
• Clean criminal record search
• Adherence to our safety and drug and alcohol policies
• 2 year commitment

dont know about the company but nova is super for fishing and the scenery is fantastic
