A year already..

A year already..
So today is our first year anniversary of arriving in the US.. Looks like we survived.. Just!
My old life seems a distant memory in lots of ways - but i'm still resisting the new one too.. I'm hoping to move into the 'acceptance' stage of being an expat any day now!
I won't bore everyone with the details of the year - up & down.. tears & laughter.. But in summary, an exciting year! - And I haven't turned into a OC Housewife.. so yayyyy for me!!
BE - as much as it pains me to admit, has been a source of comfort and laughs over the year.. So thanks all for being nice to me.. well for the most part anyway.. I have had some great advice over the months (not including help with a sign for my mexican gardners..

you can usually tell when somebody's been here a year...

stick with it Sambapink...it gets easier, just chill out and have fun and don't take the OC Cougars too seriously...

I believe the first year is the hardest.........unless you are me then it becomes a roller coaster for the first few years

Happy Anniversary. I have done 9 months myself and will be 7 months pregnant when we hit the milestone of 1 year!

We're heading off to the hotel we stayed in when we first arrived for dinner and drinks (lots for me!!!!) ... its nowt special, but kinda nostalgic for us..

wow a year already, time flies when you're having fun! nearly 7 yrs for me and gawd knows where it's gone, it's scary
