Re: WTF in America
I had three. First one at the courthouse so we could start the AOS paperwork, second one for my wife's family, and then a third back in Blighty for my family.

Re: WTF in America
Good reminder why I could not stand living in one of these religious states, I would go bonkers with the level of idiocy some of these states are doing.

Take a look at this, see Ohio there, its one of the worst states.
https://www.drugabuse.gov/drugs-abus...aries-by-state
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/s..._poisoning.htm (Ohio = 46.3 deaths per 100,000 & liberal California 11.7 per 100,000, total deaths Ohio 5,111 & California 4,868)

Why do you not mention the drug problems that are chronic in Oliver, Penticton and Osoyoos instead of looking for bullshit links to post on what people teach in Ohio? The teachings might not be in line with scientific facts occasionally but just perhaps the kids aren't cooking their brains out on crap either. I never yet met a church orientated family whose kids were as ****** up as so many others are becoming these days

Re: WTF in America
Ohio gets a mention in this article about drug abuse among Amish kids. I don't know why you'd think that kids from a family that practices an organised religion are any more immune to going off the rails than any other family.

Re: WTF in America
This one out of Utah.
A woman working in the garage with her husband takes off her shirt, husband was also shirtless. Step children saw her topless, mother of kids reported step-mom to police. Step mom is arrested and charged with 3 counts of lewdness involving a child and if convicted will have to go on the sex offender registry for 10 years.
Judge heard the case earlier in the week, but declined to make an immediate ruling, ruling should occur within a few months.

. We have quite a sizeable Mormon community in my neck of the woods. At a guess I would say that drugs are not part of their scene nor amongst the Jehovah Witness faction. Anyway the drug problem seems to know no borders and under a Democrat Administration you cant count on any solution to it thus my wish list for 2020:
Trump wins another four years
Supreme Court rules that shooting all drug dealers on sight is legal and lawful
Trump tells Mexico they have six months to eliminate the cartels otherwise US special forces will do it for them with no holds barred
I recall back in the 1980s Malaysia executed a couple of Australians for bringing drugs into the country. I believe they even made a movie about that
