Presumably they were trying to push the little woman finds a big man in her apartment so has to save herself. Rather than her breaking into someone's property and shooting the homeowner. We'll never know but I wonder if she'd broken into an apartment and found a white man whether she'd have shot him. Given her known attitude towards African Americans I'd say (from my home a long long way away) that race most definitely was a factor.

Wow, I have only just now seen the video of the Judge in the Amber Guyger case, giving her a Bible, telling her what passages to read, "You haven’t done as much as you think you have, and you can be forgiven", "This is your job for the next month. Right here. John: 3:16. And this is where you start, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”. Shocking level of Christian privilege.

That's pretty rank. I wonder what the judge would have said if Guyger had politely declined on the basis of being Muslim/Hindu/agnostic/take your pick.
