I think that has started to take hold more seriously just over the last year or two at high school level, but even if the trend continues it will take a decade to feed through to the NFL in any substantial way.

Does anyone know of any comparison between injuries in American Football (with all their protective gear) with Rugby Union (with just about no protective gear)?
