Same way that the boycotts of States works, which had some success is LGBT law reversal.

I guess that makes sense, I can see that.

I just don't understand why they're protesting for a guy who was on probation from jail, caught in the middle of a suspected drug deal, fled and tried to run a cop over, rammed the police SUV once or twice, then led police on a high speed chase through the city, then once that was over didn't listen to commands to get out of the vehicle with his hands up etc.

There is suspicion the cop 'planted' a gun in the suspects car, and he then said the suspect reached around for the something. but all the above doesn't help the suspect, at all.

People seem to forget that the law of court works on an innocent until proven beyond reasonable doubt system...

You have omitted the only relevant fact, and it explains the protests.

Would that be skin colours of the 'victim' and cop? Only reason I didn't mention it, is because anyone doing the situation above is going to end up with not so good outcomes. Simple as that.
