The rumour mill already kicked off this morning. "A clown got on the school bus and was kicked off by the driver while the kids were scared" turned out to actually be "A clown passed the school bus on the other side of the street while high-schoolers were getting on it".
Despite the fury amongst the adults, no one spoke to the clown or followed them to see where they live. Probably one of the homeschooled kids in the neighbourhood.

Clowns are, of course, famous for their incorporation of white Afghans into their costume. I suppose, better that it was 'shot at', rather than 'shot', in this case.
