You might think that, the Oregon Supreme Court disagrees. Not sure if it has ever reached the SCOTUS.

The best one I ever got (seriously speaking..is that allowed?) was from Sothebys Realtors (wouldn't you know).
It was a bottle opener thig-a-ma-jiggy rubber(?) pad that opens stuck bottle tops. And it works!

Already is one, A.R.S. 13-1502 - put up a no trespassing sign and quote that law on it. If they keep on doing it, you can report them to the police.

Phone up the people on the flyer, tell them next time they do it, you will report it to the police.

Ditto. Waiting in line at some chain stores and they call out "Next guest please" , I feel like lashing out!

The ultimate answer is sometimes just a wig, which again can be extremely expensive for the best quality ones. The irony is that unlike most wig buyers who have lost some or all of their hair due to old age or medical treatments e.g. chemotherapy, the goal is to have a wig that does not look like their natural hair.
That extensive styling and sometimes relaxing thing (minus the wigs) is also done by Hispanics, mostly Dominicans and Puerto Ricans as they tend to have the tight small curls too. In fact, in Hispanic neighborhoods there are an incredibly high number of hairdressers and they end up staying open late into the evenings well after other shops have closed, I'm talking 9pm, 10pm.

So most black women and Dominicans and PR's end up not washing their hair for long periods in order to conserve their style and their heads end up smelling. Maybe most people wouldn't notice but I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell. I come across smelly heads on a daily basis on elevators, escalators, on public transport, in offices. A greasy and sour smell. It's horrible. Sometimes with the strongest of stinks I contemplate telling the poor girl in the politest possible way, thinking they are not aware. But I've never done it.

I never cam across this stink in the UK. It's not a pet peeve of mine though it disgusts me, but something I've ever only encountered in this country.

I think it's a great shame that some black women do not consider their hair to be beautiful. Personally I think the Tyra Banks/ Beyonce look is jarring.

The funny thing is it took me several years (that was a long time ago though) to catch on that their hair wasn't real.

I find the natural afro look very pretty though its rare to see it.
