KFC is the only fast food my 80 yo mam will even contemplate. She's a really healthy eater most of the time, but KFC gets her right off the rails.

She crossed McDonalds off her list after being met with blank stares when asking for a knife and fork on her first visit

My grandma was like that, she always cooked at home and made her own meals for the most part, but she absolutely loved KFC and would go there a few times each month.

She lived to 94, and continued to eat it a few times a month until she died.

I don't like buttermilk biscuits, so that wouldn't bother me any! I do usually like their wedges though. The chips/fries they serve here in the UK aren't anywhere near as tasty. I do love their corn on the cob though. Now you all are making me hungry!

Whenever I'd see a news story about some animal rights activists complaining about KFC, I'd think Mmmmmmmmm.... I could go for a nice bucket of extra crispy right now and go get one. Awesome. Anyone else ever go there and find out they're out of chicken or that Pizza Hut is out of dough? Shouldn't you just close for the day if you're out of your main ingredient?

Agreed, and something I find vastly better here than in the UK.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there. Now, that's not to say that I couldn't get a good pizza in Blighty - Little Italy in Belfast (a tiny little place tucked away in a side street in the city centre) was brilliant but I do love an American pizza.

I'm doubly lucky that I live in the Chicago area, we love our pizzas here

You do those funny deep ones there don't you?

My current favorite is a thin crust "white" garlic Pizza. Yum!
