Until the mindset changes, infinity.

I hate guns so I'd not complain about tough restrictions on having them.

Even up here, the Ottawa shooter was able to obtain a gun despite having a firearms ban in him.

Guns are illegal in Mexico.

If you are caught with firearms or ammunition in Mexico...
You may get up to a 30-year sentence in a Mexican prison if found guilty.

If you carry a knife on your person in Mexico, even a pocketknife . . .
If convicted, you may be sentenced to up to five years in a Mexican prison.

You may become one of dozens of U.S. Citizens who are arrested each month for unintentionally violating Mexico’s strict weapons laws.

I am aware of that and where did I say they were legal?

It's very obvious the criminals in Mexico have no trouble obtaining guns, and they freely cross the border with guns, so that is why I included Mexico in my statement which did not say they were legal in Mexico, and said physically present for a reason.

Only going to get worse with technology.
3D printers.

I wish no-one could access guns. However where I currently live is about 30 mins from police response and there's not much defense from home invasion.

There was even a home invasion in Edinburgh the other week...

It does seem you need deaths to make the national news.

300 million people. Say 4 million deaths a year 10,000 a day.

To make the cut you need to stand out.

Not if you got or have a slim chance of having Ebola.

Or Benghazi where 4 people died and congress has been investigating it for over 2 years but couldn't be bothered to have a congressional hearing when Obama decided to start air strikes in Iraq and Syria.

That's a common core education for you ...

I think if anyone is stupid enough to think that can be used as an actual suit should not be deterred by warnings. We don't need people like that with the ability to produce progeny. Thin the herd
