If I want my dog to do something I give her her favourite treats until she does it out of habit.... Is that a possibility with your daughter? I don't have children, but I'm going to assume you can train them like a pet dog...

A much more nuanced approach is required with little girls. Also ignoring them and pretending to be asleep helps as well.

I'll only do that if there's something worth watching, of course. Nothing worse than being up early enough for a game and it's just the bloody chavs or something.

I would expect either substance abuse and/or mental health issues going on here. It's beyond the realm of possibility that two people in their right mind could knowingly leave a 4 months old like that.

That's beyond WTF. I (not sure if this is the right word) hope it was mental illness or substance abuse because the idea that it was intentional is too much. That's just all kinds of ****ed, right there.

I try and avoid physical labor when not working.

The last thing I want to do on my time is physical stuff, I get enough of that at work.

Luckily we live in a condo building and rent which means never having to do things like paint, fix things, yardwork, shoveling snow etc.
