Yeah, definitely!!!!!!!

Spoiler:
What a game! What a performance. Holland were simply superb! That score could easily have been 6 or 7 - 1. I know Spain aren't the team of 4 years ago, but they are still a good team! That's what makes Holland's performance even better!!!!!!

Spoiler:
I'm shocked... I've never seen Casillas or Ramos play as badly. It should easily have bee 7 and could even have been into double figures.

I know you can't read too much into it, they lost in the opener last time, but jeez.

Spoiler:
The thing is, Holland were 3rd favorites to get out of the group apparently. I'm not too familiar with Chile, but I'm thinking Soain could be in danger of not even getting out of the group!!!!! (I'm assuming Australia weren't the second favorite to progress LOL)

Spoiler:
Chile have some good players, but have really just been screwed by the Dutch. There's no way they'll go into that game undercooked since it's literally all or nothing. They lose again and they're going home.

Spoiler Alert: Lots of references to the 1966 World Cup followed by England losing. Shrug of shoulders and that is it for the next 4 years

LOL, that's clearly an article written by a clueless plank. For a start, "soccer" isn't a fringe sport over here. To even suggest so is totally wrong. And then to suggest a football match could be decided by judges shows a complete lack of understanding of any team sport, just not football!!! Many yanks I've talked to football about are very knowledgable, even if they do insist on using words like uniform, call, kph and soccer when talking about it!

I don't remotely see Spain losing to Chile. England lost their opening game in '66 and still won the tournament. Argentina lost their opener in '90 and still made the final.

So the Spanish shouldn't be panicking too much yet.

Home from work too late to see the highlights of the Spain v holland match, they've moved on to the chile v Australia match already on ESPN.

The commentators are calling the South American team "chill-lay". As a Brit I'm used to saying "chilly", which is right (ie nearest to how Chileans say it)?

The first one is the correct one. Chil-lay.

I bet Ramos wishes he was a Brazilian now.
I bet he wishes he never got out of bed this morning.
