They thought she was going to overstay/possibly stay illegally as they found old family photos...I must admit she did sound a little bit suspect..she should have left the cat at home !!

I'll have to watch then. My house has been described as a sitcom, reality tv has nothing on me.

Enjoyed the bachelorette party bus. They all seemed to be having fun with their jello shots and beer. And the agent was a good sport with the picture taking.

That one had me laughing too. the poor immigration guy was blushing.
No way was the brit woman coming for a holiday, who brings the cat on holiday to another country, and she had more than pics in her case. It looked like a house move with all her paperwork stuffed in there.
They'd never have looked twice at her if she hadn't brought the darn cat.

I might be completely out of date here but won't the cat have to go into quarantine for 6 months? Or does that law only apply to dogs?

Depends. If she's thought ahead and got it a full pet passport then she might get away with a quick once over from a vet and maybe a titre test.

If not then, yes, 6 months solitary for the poor kitten. :(

Maybe that was another thing that went against her (if she didn't have the pet passport) - seems pretty inconsistent to trail the cat all that way only for the cat to have to spend 6 months in quarantine when the woman went back to the UK after her 6 months with her brother.
