Today was the first day of my 4 day weekend and I spent most of it outside in the beautiful sunny 78 degree weather. We are finishing the new siding on the garage so hopefully it will stay like this all weekend:thumbsup:

Cold and pouring with rain here - it seems to have thrown the whole area into panic mode.

My 5 year old wore her skiing thermal underwear yesterday for the first game of her soccer season - it was 50F-ish, but the wind up at Katy park was brutal and made it seem a lot colder! Thankfully today was back to normal temps - nice 70ish, with clear blue skies, so I put the kids back to slave labour in the garden cutting down all the dead stuff from last months 2 week winter!

We just went out to dinner on our bikes....nice ride there, but decidedly chilly on the way back once the sun went down, but at least we were rewarded with a nice sunset. Love this time of year....

March roared in like a lion ..the winds finally died down and we've had a couple of beautiful days with temps up to 35F. A lot of the snow has melted so hopefully spring is on its way.

That's quite a bit warmer than it is back here. A very pleasant mid-40s right now :)

We've had 2 days in a row of sunshine and mid-50s temperature. It feels positively boiling after the winter we've had

Edinburgh, Scotland - Friday afternoon 18/02/11 - sky mostly clear - hazy blue with only tiny wisps of high level cloud; very pleasant sunshine feeling quite warm in spite of shade temperature of just 9.2C as at 16:00hrs. Moderate WSW breeze. A slight air frost last night and early morning - minimum temperature of -1.4C. Buds appearing on trees; some blossom just about to appear here and there; crocuses and daffodils in profusion. Officially the first day of Spring on Monday next 21/03/11. Early Sunday morning 27/03/11 - Census Day - GMT pushed forward one hour and becomes BST - British Summer Time.
