Ah yes, it's a knockout....... people dressed up in huge foam suits running into things, there is a Japanese game show on one of the satellite channels here that always reminds me of it.

Bagpuss "and Emily loved him" apparently so did I as I got a cuddly Bagpuss sent from England a couple of years ago along with a fridge magnet and a clangers Cell phone cover that makes the noise when squeezed.
Apparently our childhood TV show were then "retro" and all the collectible rage!
It was very amusing Christmas morning seeing my American relatives looking at me like I was mental, as I unwrapped children's toys from home at Thirty something! Followed by crackers and the wearing of the paper crown, for some reason they don't join us for Christmas lunch that often?

The Banana Splits - a group of California students dressed in animal costumes drive around in customised buggies while wired on acid in the mid-70s. Best job in the world.

I have had the same experience with paper hats and crackers at Christmas, I told them it just wouldn't be Christmas without paper hats, crackers, and that enough brussel sprouts to make people fart in their sleep during their afternoon nap.

Goon Show Milligan, Sellers and Seacombe + Bentine in the first year.
It's a Square World, Bentine

Dick Barton had two assistants, Snowy and Jock. For some reason, my brother and I called them Joey and Snock.

Uncle Mac, Larry the Lamb. Norman and Henry Bones

The Radio Doctor

The Brains Trust

Family Favourites

Our radio was basically a speaker to which you had a choice of 3 stations, Home, Light and Radio Luxembourg. Reception was perfect. I think my parents paid 6d a week.(Probably the beginning of Reddifusion (sp)?)
