I was born in Leon (Spain) and lived in both Leon and Valladolid until I turned 20. Then moved to Solihull on my own and stayed for 11 years and, as most of you know, I'm now in sunny Colorado...
It's nice to read about where you all come from...

Born near Newcastle - actually Northumberland. Lived in Stuttgart, Germany for 4 years. Moved to Irvine / Aliso Viejo, So CA and lived there for 8 years. Back to Newcastle for past 11 years and we are now making our plans to move to Phoenix, AZ in March 09. Can't stand the English weather, especially the 'summer'!

was okay until I hit my teens. Nothing to do, no transport, 1 horse village
My parents had the hairbrained idea of buying an old cottage that needed complete renovation..
cue the yes you get to live in a caravan for a year next to the bomb, sorry building site
