Where to watch the World Cup?
i want to know if there’s any good sports bars around Orlando to watch the England v Sweden game on Saturday morning?
ideally with other England fans and if possible BBC coverage as I’m not keen on the American commentary!?

You're not going to get the British commentary without using a VPN to log into iPlayer or ITV player (not sure which is hosting it this weekend)

Harp & Celt Pub in Orlando on Magnolia Ave. For the Champions League Final a month ago it was slammed with Liverpool fans. Best to call to make sure its open by 10am. Also Orlando Citys Bar on Church St, a short walk from there has huge TV screens.

Fox Sports is the main channel in the US, and for each England game so far Derek Rae has been commentating. Certainly as far away from American commentary as you can get.
Aly Wagner was a weird choice to pair him with and i don't really care for her random analysis, but Derek Rae is good.

Re: Where to watch the World Cup?
I’ve been watching on itv hub and iPlayer with a vpn at home so far which is fine but I’d like to watch in a pub with other fans for some good atmosphere. LOOks like it’s a choice between at home on my own on BBC or in a pub on Fox with Warren Barton summarising!? 🤣

The only place I will be going is home at 1pm to watch the match on ITV (benefits of an office job, I can bunk off for an afternoon and it not be noticed). I would prefer it was on the Beeb, but needs must!

I can watch it in the office but It's not going to be the same as being in a pub with other fans.

My wife (very much a GA born-southern-american football loving-sort) can't understand why I was a little tearful after we beat Colombia on penalties. I tried to explain how in my 33 years I had hardly ever seen it happen, but she just didn't get it.
I am secretly a little happy that she will be at work until after the game is over

Can you name the bar on Sand Lake please, i've phoned the bar up in Orlando that i recommended and they expect to be slammed and standing room only! I've somewhere else in mind but it must have volume which is so hard to find even in sports bars, seems they'd rather play music!

I don't know the name, I was hoping someone on here would know. randomly ran into someone from Chelmsford while at the playground with the kids last week and she said her and her husband went somewhere on Sand Lake. I think Bar Loui has TVs but unsure if it's there that would be showing it! not really a sports bar.
