Let's see ... (rant-mode)
How hard it was going to be to get a job, then a decent paying salary, then how to get out of all the accrued and ongoing debt.
Then dealing with a lot of cultural stuff, especially in my work environment, which seems to have a lot of 80's style attitudes (casual racism/sexism etc) ... oh the lack of decent internet, and online food shopping options. The need to have a second job due to not enough money in the first one.
Oh and drivers who bump my car then Geico settle for 50/50 liability. Aargh.

Brocolli wouldn't be in my top twenty vegetables, twenty five if you include potatoes as a "vegetable".
If I never ate broccoli again it wouldn't matter in the slightest to me; the only vegetable that springs to mind as being less enjoyable for me is asparagus, which is apparently Mrs P's #1 all-time favourite vegetable.

I like mushrooms, aubergine, arugula, cauliflower, cabbage (both raw and boiled a l'anglais), beans (various), carrots, parsnips, but broccoli I find a bit stringy and tasteless.
Potatoes are pretty much the best food ever.

One can cheat and use botanical fruits as culinary vegetables.

It's for salad, though contrary to the opinion of Mrs P, I don't believe lettuce is necessary for a salad.

Only if they took the steaks with them. I like mushrooms and that, but perspective ...
Fish and chips springs to mind.

Mushrooms are disgusting. nasty, watery grow-on-dead-things disgusting.
Lettuce isn't disgusting.. just completely utterly pointless.
I can feel a new culinary thread coming on.

That's a pretty good stand-alone statement. Personally I like them with mushrooms - fish chips, peas, and mushrooms is an excellent balanced meal - lean protein, starch, green vegetable, other vegetable.

Peas are just ****ing concentrated balls of evil. I was force fed the little shits nigh on daily growing up and they just make me dry heave even thinking about them now
