It is the largest with a message board forum board like this apparently. They claim to be anyway.

Either you or they are missing the word "Cruise" in there somewhere, whilst I'll accept there's probably more people interested in cruising than there are British people interested in emigrating it's much less accessible than something like gaming or saving money, software development etc

Just a quick look at their site and I see
Cruise Critic is the world's largest community of people who love to cruise

Some of the leading contenders are doing their trials based on double dosing, and it would not be wild thinking it may require a double dose, many vaccines require 2 or more doses to fully protect.

Pfizer, Moderna and Astra-Zeneca are all testing based on double dose. Johnson & Johnson is doing it both ways in their trial, some will get single dose and some double dose, presumably if the other companies are doing their trials based on doubles dosing they found in earlier tests a single dose wasn't effective enough?

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/30/healt...ses/index.html

Nobody will know for sure until the vaccines are tested and approved, but there are some signs it may be a double dose. Canada is basing their ordering and decisions on it being a double dose.

Cruising???? Somehow I thought of something quite different that had nothing whatsoever to do with boats!!
Ah well, maybe the moron can go back to the cruisers () with decent information from us lot.

I've seen some reports of this, my point to Andy was that he throws out what he calls facts with no proof or links behind it. However it's against BE rules to link to other discussion boards so if that's where he gets his info from.........

I had the same thought but decided to not focus on it!

They are also now testing an inhalation based delivery of vaccine here in UK. It apparently requires less quantity of vaccine to produce similar or greater level of immunity and might help with supply problems. No mention if you would need 1 or 2 inhalations.

My father is registered to it I am not. We attend a meetup one time and one of the people there was pretty high up on the NCL board they had the admin rights and she told me they she thought they had more than a million members worldwide. And that figure was higher than the forum memberships for sports club or movies like star wars or whatever. IMDB might have more members with their forum but their message boards have been taken down.

According to the article in the S*N (Look how I typed it for you Spouse of Scouse ) An air bridge "may be opening soon between new york and london" which would avoid the need for quarantine according to high up people at virgin atlantic. According to daily telepgraph discussions are going on at a very senior level around regarding opening up New York and London. And if it comes to pass might mean the reopening of USA to UK travellers before vaccine? Something I am quite surprised about.

This is an interesting idea (though I wish it was reported somewhere more reputable), and it makes me wonder what would happen as those travellers fan out into the rest of the country. For example, my state is still requiring all visitors from "high risk states", and international visitors, to quarantine upon arrival for 14 days. I wonder if there would be an exemption for people coming on an air bridge.

So one person's opinion that they might have more memberships than an un-named sports club or movie star leads you to state it's the biggest forum in the world? Steam has between 67-90 million active monthly users (depending on where you look.) It broke the 1 billion user account mark last year and yet I'm still not making a claim that's the biggest forum despite the evidence that it's significantly higher than your 1 million users, do you know why? Because I have absolutely no evidence that it's a fact, if I used random people's opinions as a source of facts I'd be a member of every religion/cult on the planet.
