Cheers that man, the DVD box hunt will continue, but it's not a priority according to OH.
Her that can't see wider than CSI on a day to day basis???
On UK TV she used to watch QI, but binned that when Stephen Fry moved on and handed over to Sandi Toksvig.
I find that Sandi injects far more panel participation, and that QI has really moved on rather than it being "another Stephen Fry show".
I sort of like the guy (on TV, but not his books), but he's recently tried to get bigger than he needs to be at this point. Trying too hard, too soon...

I do like Stephen Fry though (and his books ).

This is going back a long way now but I first saw Sandi Toksvig on a saturday morning show called No73 back in the mid 80's. It was a fantastic show especially the Sandwich Quiz they had at the end each week. She was really very funny.

I'm a big fan of Taskmaster, it's probably the only show I've watched where the US version is almost as good as the original.

Just finished the second season of "Jack Whitehall:Travels with my Father". I don't know who is funnier, Jack or his dad.

On the flight back from UK I saw two episodes of 'The Man in the High Castle'. Was definitely intriguing; certainly an interesting premise (Germany/Japan won WW2, divided the US between east and west). Is it worth the investment to keep going?

By the way, when this thread started I thought it was more of a “true confessions” type thing to admit to sneaking a peek at Snoop on Jokers Wild or something, as opposed to a serious TV discussion!

I pay for Sky in Italy and get 95% American TV. At the moment I wait for new episodes of "90 Day Fiancè." I love to see who's a Green Card Troll faking it and who might really be in love. I'm cynical about all of them.

My wife and I got sucked into the current run of 'before the 90 days' a few weeks back, they're all certifiable.

Another one just came onto my radar, thanks to my new found cable provider. The series is Outcast, I've watched six or seven episodes, so far so good.

I love 90 Day Fiance, I hardly watch any tv but I never miss that. Even better than the show itself is the Facebook page, with the bitchiest comments section I've seen in ages.

I loved the first two series. Whether you enjoy it depends upon whether you subscribe to the dystopian Philip K Dick vision of the future (the series is based upon one of his books) or prefer the shiny bright Star Trek type version. The alternate universes (a Dick speciality) can be a little confusing at times, but I find it fascinating.
