All righty then. ![EEK!](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Moving on rapidly in a backwards direction-Mike, there's naught wrong with the thread, it's interesting to see what people are thinking what they want to do, should do or can do to change their lives.
My whole resolution is to get my DH a driver's license-this would positively impact the areas of change for me that I would like to see happen-a domino effect.
BE-2008-probably no change in the amount of time spent here. A few years ago, I went for several months without posting and it made no difference. The world didn't end and no search and rescue operations were mounted. Because gentle readers, it is like anyplace else, IF you make friends on here, then you shouldn't have to rely on posting on Expats to be in touch with them.......

Christmas is over and I hope you all had a lovely time and that everyone is nicely relaxed, especially after a hectic lead-up.
New Year's Eve falls on Monday next week. Following tradition, what are your New Year Resolutions, your hopes and aspirations (if any) and your hopes for the world at large?

1. Keep going to the gym....hopefully lose the 20lbs I've gained since DH moved here.
2. Spend more time with my college-aged kids.
3. Increase DH's vegetable intake, decrease DH's chips/pizza/sweets intake.
4. Take the higher ground and resist temptation to stoop.....

2 ... Won't they become a bit pissed off with you lurking about, them being college age an' all?
3 ... Dire straits eh?
4 ... I read it thinking you meant 'take the higher ground and resist to jump'!!

2. They do not get pissed off if I cook their favorite foods and spend money on them.
3. I do not know if this is even possible.
4. Good one!
Happy New Year!
