3. Football will be less popular than both baseball and basketball.
4. More urbanized population.
5. Fewer practicing Christians.
6. More distributed manufacturing.
7. Fewer people going to college, more vocational schools and apprenticeships.

Agree about increasing urbanisation - think bladerunner or bangkok now.
The official language will be spanish.
Even lower average intelligence.
It will become more religious, more insular. I find it interesting that its one of the few countries that people are visiting for leisure less and less.

For the African Americans? Look at the incarceration rates and how much it has climbed over the last 20 years- leading to an underclass of impoverished, unable to find work angry young men. Incarceration rate of african american women is also on the increase.
For the students of today? Student loan debt now outranks mortgage debt.
Higher % of income now being spent on housing in metro areas ( ie where the jobs are).

Not so sure it’ll be the 2nd biggest, by some measures its that now, i would go for 3rd.

same crime - white kids get warnings/community service. Black kids get jail. That's the simplified version. You could google inequality incarceration USA and they will pretty much all say the same thing with different criminologists offering up pretty much the same reasons. interesting and very, very sad reading.

America will come through. There seems to be a wishful thinking in hoping for it's demise. No doubt the court of King George III dismissed the new republic as something that wouldn't last and as only a matter of time before the founding fathers ate humble pie and returned to the fold. It survived another war with Britain, a major civil war, prohibition, helped turn the tide against Germany in the closing years of the first world war and helped provide the means and manpower to successfully launch the Normandy landings.
It will be the first country to land on Mars and it's technology still the best in the world as China is well aware since it spends an enormous amount of time in attempting to steal it.

So what it boils down to is that the great majority of court judges in this country must be biased against black Americans. Black man in the dock...... prison. White man in the dock..... no prison. I don't believe any of it

It's true that black men will, on average, receive 19.1% longer sentences than white men when convicted for the same crime in the US but that statistic is meaningless unless it has been controlled for other variables. In other words, all things being equal, is race, and therefore racial prejudice, the sole determining factor? The USSC did adjust for several variables such as criminal history, plea, age, education, and citizenship but not for others such as employment history or family circumstances. So racial bias cannot be ruled but it's a fallacy to assume that it has to be solely about race.
