What I've learned (In a nutshell)
1. If you want to experience something else then do it.
2. If you don't like it then move on. 3. If you end up back where you started then no harm done. Any arguments? |

None from me.

Agree.
It’s better to have done something and failed, than to have done nothing at all and succeeded! |

Spot on. We learn something from each experience in our life and sometimes we learn even more from the perceived mistakes- even if they occurred as a result of good intentions such as emmigrating....

Agree entirely with everything everyone has said. Once, someone told me, we do everything for either a reason, a season, or a lifetime (actually he said this about being with a person, but it applies to experiences also). We have no control over which. And that's OK. |

Having said that... I stand to lose almost a lifetime's worth of savings (not a vast amount) if my move to Canada goes wrong. Sometimes you have to take a gamble, too, maybe... |
