Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas Concert...so not very rock and roll at all, but the missus is happy. Scottish fiddler music type stuff.

Re: What gig are you going to?
I've hardly seen any bands this year, but next year is looking a bit better...
Got 2 in February - Vonda Shepard and then The Fisherman's Friends at my local small theatre (Tivoli in Wimborne for those that know Dorset).
Joan Baez at the Albert Hall in May as part of her farewell tour.
Catching another final tour - Runrig are retiring after 40 years - seeing them at the Hammersmith Apollo in June.
The Proclaimers are touring next year too - shall probably catch them.

Would have loved to see Runrig, Fisherman's Friends and The Proclaimers. Managed to get tickets to Elton John's last concert at Caesars Palace in May.

The only disappointing thing about the night was you always get a poster of the gig as you leave The Fillmore. The gig was so last minute though they didn't have chance to design and print them, so there weren't any

Annoyingly, I can't make this...not a bad price either.

a few weeks ago we went to New York for a few days - managed to get tickets on the spur of the moment. First night was Ringo Starr and his all stars band - great fun. Then 3rd night, saw King Crimson - who were amazing, 3 drummers!!!
Then 2 nights ago we were killing time in Cleveland and went to a bar that was doing drum Karaoke - such a cool idea, way more fun than normal Karaoke!!!

Planning on getting tickets to see Earth, Wind and Fire in our town in March '18.
Sans Philip Bailey, but I'm sure it will be fine.

Nothing But Thieves and Shed Seven. Would have loved to see The Killers but resale tickets are CRAZY prices. As are the booking fees! And to think I moaned about a 3 pound booking fee in the UK

Noel Gallagher at the Fox in Oakland this last weekend. He was very good, I actually really liked his stuff that he played, but of course everyone was there for the Oasis songs. He put his own little twist on the ones he didn’t originally sing, he had some interaction with the audience which was fun. On stage for 2 hours, but I think everyone left wishing there had been another hour of Oasis hits.

Really want to go and see ELO at Oakland in August, but the Mrs doesn’t share my enthusiasm. I’m gonna keep working on her though.

Tickets for LA sold out within 2 minutes of the presale. All tickets have names printed of, distributed 72 hours before the show and credit card matching name on ticket to be shown at entrance. Like that they’re doing that, hopefully I at least missed out to real fans rather than touts.
