I got a sewing machine. It was a complete surprise, and I'm absolutely delighted with it as I had to leave mine behind in Blighty.

I'm such a lucky girl!

SWMBO loves sewing machines. I think she has almost as many as I have firearms...

Enjoy!
I got a new one last year for xmas...I had had my old basic singer since xmas 1986 (and it still works!). I love mine, esp. the button-holer feature, since I was used to doing button-holes old-school.

I received the best gift of all, my son phoned home to say Merry Christmas. Firstly thankful hes alive, hes had some tough times and been hospitalised but hes doing ok, he has a little place hes sharing with some friends, he has a roof over his head, food to eat and hes working.
We are working with the Salvation Army to get him some documentation so he'll never be a John Doe, he had everything stolen when he was attacked when he was in California earlier this year.
2010 may be the year we are reunited

Glad he's ok, hope you get your reunion next year

I got a beutiful topaz and diamond bracelet from my hubby, total surprise and first Christmas gift for around 5 years.

An England football shirt ready for the World Cup. Some M&S knickers that won't fall apart after a couple of washes, perfume and some posh make-up brushes from Harrods.

My daughter bought me a lovely necklace from the Snowman shop at school, it can't have cost more than $10 but I'll wear it constantly, she was so proud of herself
