If the number of posts is a measure of how much is missing in our lives, then SoS, Rete, and I are running neck and neck, but the gap in our lives can be nothing compared to the cavernous voids that you and JG appear to be suffering from. :(

Considering how little I have to do in a day, and how many hours I spend online (10-12 hours per day) I appear not to post all that much compared to some of you busier folk....:lol:

Back when I started posting it was a huge milestone to hit 1000 posts, and we used to post bouncing kangaroos for Aus forum posters that hit those dizzy heights :lol:

I am a member of the generation that made plans and was forced to keep to them. And then years later waited a half an hour for a computer game to load up from a tape recorder so my son could play on an amstrad computer.

I could never imagine calling people friends if I had never met them. Get out their and live.

I have a life , a very busy life but being part of this site often is a life saver. We are great at helping each other out on here, that's a plus to many of us. If it's words of encouragement, shared experiences or real help when one of us needs it you can guarantee someone will jump in.

Heck, I'm the generation before computers were anything but an entire floor of a mainframe.

I met my husband online and we are married 18 years and many of our internet friends came to New York for our wedding from such places as California, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Thunder Bay Canada, Halifax Canada, Massachusetts.

You can have a life online and it can be as real as meeting your next door neighbor. Perhaps you need a better imagination ;)
