I walked down the international isle this morning, where I know they sell a few British groceries, though I didn't buy anything. I saw the signs for Asian, Indian, Mexican and Italian groceries but no sign either above or on the shelves (as all other countries/regions had) for British groceries, which were conveniently marked like this:

I know there are some places you can buy products from the UK, but I've noticed a lot of them are made over here in the US, and are ever so slightly different as opposed to the original UK locations. Only a few odd places actually import from the UK. (Speaking for Texas anyhow)
I also find out which colleagues i have flying into town for business and put in an order with them
Oh, and being a Bristol boy means i drank cider back in the UK, and i found the total wine store. They have my favourite cider - Thatchers! but at $10 for 4 small bottles it's only the odd time i get some

I used to buy fire blankets, but now they have started selling them in home depot. Sometimes I will bring back a few coins and notes to add to my collection.

I know what you mean, but maybe that's what they meant by "kosher" - it all appeared to be, ..... er, ..... kosher, made in the UK, merchandise.

Sometime I will load on on the English grumpiness if I am there for too long.

Duvet covers!
I generally take a spare suitcase with me so I can bring it back fully loaded - biscuits, mostly (the choccy bar kind) and some cakes.

I need some egg cups next time I go and some small 12 oz mugs.
