Default What did you get for Chrimbo?

My wife usually gets me some tech that she knows I want, but I won't buy myself.
She did it again with a 3D printer, I've got a test dog printing as we speak.

By mutual agreement scouse and I don't buy each other Christmas presents, we put money into our 'travel account' instead.

We buy for and receive from family though. This year I got a leather handbag, summer pjs, a gift voucher to use at my hairdressers, a hard back copy of Little Women with a personal leather bookmark, hand lotion, eye mask, face mask with filters (very 2020!), a gift pack of gin and tonic, home made Christmas cake, gift vouchers for shopping, cashmere scarf, lottery and instant scratch tickets, wine, and baskets of goodies such as chocolate, nuts, olives, cheeses, condiments and biscuits.

My best gift was my 39 year old son coming to our family Christmas brunch, reuniting with them after 13 years.

We weren't going to do presents this year but OH broke the rules - bless her - and this afternoon I unwrapped four 2nd hand DVDs, all in a Jane Austen theme.

One of which features Hugh Grant, the best UK answer to the worst actor ever, USA's Nicolas Cage.

Anything that involves Alan Rickman can be forgiven for any shortcomings.

Father Christmas brought me lots of vanilla and coconut scented body creams/lotions, which I love. Also got loads of British goodies ie Cadbury’s in various forms. A handbag, slippers, a wrap. The best pressie was having our daughter and granddaughter to stay after staying apart for the last 10 months.

Absolutely. That man was a god.

Even otherwise mediocre films, he made into masterpieces.
Blow-dry (an erotic favorite - the luscious Rachel Griffiths )

Mrs L got me an iPhone12, which she purchased on my Apple card with 24 months interest free credit. So by Christmas 2022 I will have paid for it.

Factory unlocked Google Pixel 5
Underwear
I also pre-ordered a Canyon Inflight SLX 9 Team cyclocross bike. Very few bikes are in stock right now anywhere in the world, I might have to wait for a few months.

Could you please print us a new Prime Minister?

OH gave me a lovely copy of a Saxon neck thing/pendant, an Indian-design blue scarf, and a waxed canvas bag with nice leather on it. The Little Lion sent me chocolates and a load of incense from India. It smells like the 1970s in here - I'm half a step from getting one of those giant floor cushions, some little brass ashtrays shaped like pointy slippers, and sticking a candle in an empty Mateus Rose bottle.
