What about Florida then?!!!!!
Hi all, long time no post...
Been here in Oregon for four years and about to sell the house next week... Hubby's company have an office in St Petersburg, FL (amongst other States) and was wondering if we should pack up and go there next?
I've read the doom and gloom posts about the "Sunshine State" and am particularly not fond of the prospect of the insects/freak weather/insurance etc but is it worth a look?
We have a 9 month old baby and we're in our early 30's and looking for some life to put a spring back in our step as there's none here on the Oregon Trail...

I quite liked Putney when I lived in London town... preferred Chiswick though.
Doesn't have to be in St Petersburg per se, open to suggestions...

We commuted 60 miles into Portland (which is a great city by the way - just want a change now). We actually expect to live further out away from the Scientologists if at all possible

thay know shit .....
Scientologists are in the main part of town ..they dont' mix with
non believers and they don't go out mugging at night ..
