Re: We're off....to Hoosierland
We have the suitcases packed, the cat carriers ready, mail on hold, arrangements made with the neighbor to water the plants and are off to Indiana tomorrow morning.
I start Monday at the new job but want to look at some more houses (we made a 2 day trip for the same 2 weeks ago) and have a second look at a couple we saw and liked.
We have several homes that are willing to let us move in prior to closing, which is what we want- not have to wait 3 months living with 5 y/o IP Jr. and the two (damn) cats Mrs. IP insists we take. Of course there would be a land contract with down payment/good faith deposit. We have found homes up there to be a lot more economical than here.
Hopefully we can have something worked out quick and arrange the moving truck etc so we can get settled ASAP!
Wish us luck!

We're back in Birmingham for the weekend, moving truck comes on Monday tp pack/load. We've bought a house which the owner agreed to let us occupy prior to final closing.
After the house here has been empty for a month, it is full of Fleas!!...eegad!!!! Don't know how as the cats are in Indiana, flea free....
Gotta go get some bombs and knock them out for a while...I just hope we don't transport some (but I know we will!) of them or their eggs to the new house!

Good luck with the move IP.
