We're going to be on the telly
Sunday evening (Nov 14), 7pm, ABC.
Yes, that's America's Funniest Home Videos - they're apparently going to show a clip I submitted back in February. The synopsis of this short but powerful piece of cinéma vérité is: small child gets knocked down by adult on sled.
Aparently our clip is not eligible for the big cash prizes, Disney cruises etc, but you wouldn't believe the amount of paperwork I had to complete to enable them just to show the clip. The person from the production team I dealt with was so gushingly appreciative that I'd filled all the forms in competently first time it made me wonder if he spends most of his time dealing with dim rednecks who've managed to film themselves riding quad bikes off cliffs, trying to deep fry their thanksgiving turkeys on the kids' trampoline, etc.
