Watching football in Grand Rapids MI
There's a football friendly restaurant in Grand Rapids called SpeakEZ Lounge. It's just a half a mile north of downtown. It's heavily Premier League, and they also follow the US national team (men's). They officially open at 11am, but if one person posts on the Facebook group "Grand Rapids Fans of World Football" https://www.facebook.com/groups/grworldfootball/ stating they want to watch any game starting before 11am, they open for you.
Join the group and the banter. There's a lot of knowledgeable fans, not many expats, mostly septics. But all good people. A lot of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U, and a handful of other teams. Owner is a Hammers fan, head bartender is a Toffees man.
They have a Foxsoccer2go account so they can show games on that service such as any CL/EL games or FA Cup, etc., or they can show anything shown on ESPN3. They hook up a laptop and an HDMI cable to show any streaming games. The only stuff they don't have access to is anything on Gol TV, which is in a package priced ridiculously for businesses, or beINsport Play, which is only available on one TV provider in the area. Owner's waiting for Fox to get the Bundesliga in 2015 I think. They get beINsport, and the NBC Extra Time so they can show any Premier League game. Four TVs available, more to follow. And if your team scarf isn't up there, feel free to donate it.
I am in no way financially compensated for this post ;o)

Re: Watching football in Grand Rapids MI
Might have to give that a go sometime - though I have ESPN and the other channels and now we have all this snow and cold quite happy to stay warm and cosy
