VAT Question
 

Hi Guys,

Couldn't find a relevant post in my search but I knew someone here would know.

When buying UK products online and having them sent to the US, do you still pay the VAT or not?

Website I am trying to purchase from is showing the VAT as chargeable and I thought it wasn't. Granted its been a while since I made a purchase like this and was curious.

Anything which is shipped out of the EU by the seller, i.e. the point of delivery is outside the EU, is not chargeable for VAT.
