You can hold the chopped liver, I've gone off it. But I'll have a double helping of chopped herring if I may. I just got an email from Tesco's this morning, 25% off all champagne. I should bring a case or five of that to the street party.
How about some chopped and fried or Gerfilter??? Go down well at a street party - not!!!
Il save you some chopped herring!!

I don't know, the English love their horseradish so if you provide enough of that, they'll eat the gefilte fish.

I will be going over to the UK tomorrow for my Dad's funeral, so I will be able to experience the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in person. I missed the Golden version, but was just a schoolkid in shorts for the Silver Jubilee.

I have Pimm's! (brought 2 bottles back from LHR Duty Free earlier this month)

A tin of M&S Jubilee shortcake petticoat tails

A Great Britain Flag cake! Here is the recipe:

More Jubilee recipes here:

Enjoy!

I'm holdin out for room temperture cheese, pineapple and small sausages on sticks. Preferably served on super-bendy paper plates. Paper... none of this new-fangled plastic stuff!

I'll make some scones. You'll have to make do with whipped heavy cream though instead of clotted cream. Oh, and cheap strawberry jam, none of this fruit bit rubbish.
I may stretch to some cucumber sandwiches if I can rope the 3 year old in.

I was just looking at my cup collection. I have one Queen's coronation cup, two cups of the Charles and Diana wedding, two cups Silver Jubilee, and one cup of Anne and Mark's wedding. Will buy a Diamond Jubilee cup in July when I'm over there. Since my mum died no one buys them for me. The two cup sets were meant for my children, but I kept them (for safety of course).
