Credit Union. Much bigger in US than on this side of the pond.

I'm thinking of using the First Entertainment Credit Union, anyone else got any experience of them?

My only concern is that i currently bank in the UK with First Direct, and there online service and iPhone app are outstanding, and i use them regularly. If i go with a credit union i guess it's unlikely they will have the same level of offerings?

Gonna miss First Direct, there customer service really is second to none

Cheers

Gareth

I've banked with a small savings and loan that's based in our town. Been with them for eighteen years. They have all the standard online services that I think are standard with all banks. I believe, being a small operation, the online services are outsourced, but they are as good as and comparable with the services offered by a multinational bank.

No, never used a credit union - but Consumer Reports (similar to Which? in UK)
do recommend them as opposed to banks.
Were I in your shoes - I'd give it a go. If you hate them - take your money (out) and go (elsewhere).
