The bandwidth checking in the iPlayer app is horribly conservative.

I tend to use other mechanisms (e.g. Get_iplayer and XBMC) to watch BBC TV.

If you're outside the US, you'll need an anonymous HTTP proxy.

When I get the 'Not enough bandwidth' message, I usually find that refreshing theiPlayer will work. Just hit F5 when it's the active window.

Completely missed that Death in Paradise had started and is now almost finished.

Anyone been watching this series?

We rather liked the first two series. It's all very daft and with a different pace about things, but rather fun.

It did seem to almost wrap up nicely at the end of the last series though.

Anyway, getting the first episode queued up for later viewing

Liked the first 2 seasons. Quirky.

The third season is... different - dunno how to do the spoiler thingy but you'll see. Don't think I'll be watching it.

Oh I see what you mean....that was a bit of a shock and don't know how we feel about that, but will probably still give it a punt.

Line of Duty, second series has just started. It's another cop show, this time about a chap investigating corruption in the force.

First series wasn't bad.

Moone Boy

Back for a second series. Fun, quirky and slightly weird little comedy show this about a school kid and his imaginary friend. It's got the chap from IT Crowd.

If you have not seen Spiral it is a superb French cop drama. One of best I've ever seen.. I concur with another posted on the program. Check it out..

I have that too. I always run a speed check first and choose the fastest one in the results. Usually works OK, although on the odd occasion if it is too slow, I watch at another time.

Doll and Em

Weird little off the cuff comedy with two real life friends. Feels a bit like Sideways, the movie.

Worth a poke, but it is very dry.

Babylon

Comedy, but also quite hard hitting bit of cop drama set in London...lot of recognisable faces. Pretty good this.

Worryingly, a friend said this was a little bit to close to reality
