I just buy an extra one during the run up to US Mother's Day, and make sure it doesn't say Mom on it.

I do that too. Then proceed to lose it. One of these days, I'll find a stack of about 10 of them

I wish there was a motherfeckers day. I know a few people I'd like to send cards to

Either that or lose the envelope it came with and then have to manufacture a makeshift envelope only to find the original the next day

At least with Overseas Forever Stamps it saves having to go to the Post Office to buy a sheet of 2c stamps

Thumbs up Re: UK Mothers Day...

I'm a big fan of Moonpig (they have the original UK site and also websites for the US and Australia).

I like the many options eg. You can just choose a generic printed card (but you put your own greetings message inside) or you can modify many of their cards for all occasions by using your own photos from your phone/iPad/Cloud. I'm useless with technology but even I am able to make my own personal greetings cards using my photos I've recently sent a birthday card to my granddaughter in England and used lots of family photos, which she loved (and it won't be thrown away).

You can also order flowers, chocolates, photo mugs etc.

Best of all, like Amazon you can go onto their UK site to make an order and they will accept your US billing address on your credit card (and vice versa for the US site). Much quicker than posting cards out by airmail from the US
