Default TV - How Big is Yours??

OH came home with a new TV yesterday and it is a whopping 55inches to replace the one he bought 6 months ago which was (only) 46inches! This one is internet ready, 3D, HD and something else -of course this necessitated buying new receiver, 3D cables and numerous other components.
An increase of 9 inches in 6 months? How big can it get?? How big is yours?

That's mental.

Our tele is just a bog standard DLP HD box, couldn't be bothered with the 3D option as they're mostly shit and the glasses well expensive and weren't much internet tv at the time.

It is a stupid living room killing 65" though.

We have a 45" in the main room, which I never really watch, except for Top Gear and Dr Who. I do most of my watching online instead using my laptop, which is 19" HD

How many might be an interesting question too. We only have one 32" but the in-laws have on in every room and I mean literally every room. Not only that but they all seem to on all at the same time.

40" Bravia. It's alright for me but I could do bigger for Kinect games.
Still, I had a 19" Magnavox for 14 years until March.

We are not even big TV watchers at all but we have one in the bathroom as OH likes to lie in the bath and watch TV and it is kinda handy in the am getting ready for work to catch up on the news.. and one in the gym but that is a necessity to get through the treadmill run and do my P90X..

The 3D is really weird and those ugly glasses..

In UK mine was 22" in USA we have one I think 32" - we only have about 10 TV channels and they are just rubbish - cant bear them!! the only one I like is the realtor channel where they show you houses for sale so no need even for a TV!

I think we have two 56" TVs - one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Both rooms are rather long so we had to get something fairly big to be able to see it from the seating areas! It's not 3D ready (I think) as neither of us care for 3D TV. I think it's supposed to connect to the internet and/or Netflix but we haven't tried that.

I do miss our freeview box with internal hard drive, though. We're paying over $80 a month for the ability to record the few cable shows that we do watch.

26 inch Zenith in a wood console. It used to belong to my wife's mother.

About all I watch on the stupid thing now is F1. If we tossed all the tvs in the trash I wouldn't be sorry. Big waste of time and money IMHO.

PS you kids get off my lawn.

We've only got the one box... stream most of our tele to it using a WD TV Live from the computer.

One TV in the entire house, a 50 incher in the family room. Eventually, we'll get a 30 something for the guest bedroom.

Got a 50" plasma downstairs in the living room complete with surround sound stuff and a 42" LCD in the bedroom. We got rid of the cable TV side recently and now mostly watch movies either on Blu-Ray/DVD or via Netflix which looks surprisingly good on the big screen considering Time Warner's connection speed is sometimes less than stellar.

Love to have a dedicated movie theater room one day though with the big projector screen
