I suppose we have slightly fiercer weather here, in rural Canada, than one gets in Nebraska. There's no garbage pick up here so one needs either a trailer or something with a bed for hauling smelly stuff. We have a Ranger for that. We have a tractor for driving across fields. On the roads there's no need for any of that so we commute by Ford Mustang convertible; fun and cheap. Something as big as the Ranger is just a pita to park in town, never mind a F150.

Never been to Canada... but are the roads a similar width to UK roads? Certainly couldn't fit my F150 down roads in the mIddle of Bristol.

The roads are wider in summer, narrower in winter. The parking spots are bigger but still tight.

I've got a 16 Chevy Colorado, not exactly the truck I wanted but work pays for it so I can't complain. It's good on gas and has been trouble free. When I actually buy a truck though it'll probably be between a Tundra and a Raptor. I like the reliability and price of the Tundra but the Raptor has the gadgets I want and holds it's resale value ridiculously well at the moment .

Want to try the new site for posting photos. Here is my 2018 Tacoma 4 by 4. I put a trailer hitch on front and back and a Paragon aluminum bed cover.

That reminds me of the time Sultan of Swing learned to fly.
He was coming in to land at the Carrickfergus aerodrome. Made his approach. Put the gear down, and put rubber on the asphalt.
He really had to apply the brakes hard and came screeching to a halt at the end of the runway.

"Phew, that runway seems really short", said Sultan.
"Yes, but look how wide it is" replied his instructor, Paddy O'Shaughnessy <make note: generic Irish sounding name here>

Seems a good place to post this. Anyone have a 2006 Ford Ranger or Mazda B series truck? These vehicles have been issued an urgent do not drive warning by NHTSA due to defective airbags. Just over half of these vehicles have been fixed meaning there is still plenty out there. If you have one, or know someone that does, stop driving it immediately, and arrange for the recall work to be carried out. Both Ford and Mazda dealers will arrange for your vehicle to be towed to get the work done so you don’t have to drive it.

Recently purchased this Toyota Tacoma - Dual Cab, 2wd 4 cylinder (traded in the Prius lol). I love this thing. No more stuffing 8ft 2x4s into a prius for me.

Two immediate mods: installed a proper subwoofer, and applied the all important decal. I expect to be driving this vehicle for the next ten years.

For the last 3 years I've been driving a 2010 dodge ram 1500. No complaints.

Not that I can help with your request but I like the Hesketh Racing avatar I spent lots of time with the team in my youth, James Hunt was a friend and I was proud when he won the Daily Express international trophy the first time the 308 was actually raced.

That's quite smart! (bar the decal ). Id like to see these "smaller" trucks next to their bigger variations for a proper comparison.

Just Google Tundra vs Tacoma, f150 vs f250, f150 vs Tundra, etc, the web is heaving with comparisons. Don't forget the Nissan Titan which is quite the looker.
