TPA-LGW $625
Just looking as my Uncle died. Direct Flight & car for the week 11-18 jan only $625 @ britishairwaysdotcom. That's at least half price from last time I looked a couple of years ago. I wonder if it is due to drones? Or are flights generally less lately? I probably won't book, but was shocked at the good price.

I’ve been looking at flights too (also because I lost an uncle). Some days are half the price of others.

I flew my daughter over here on that flight for a last minute ten day visit over Thanksgiving and it was under $740 return for a booking made with just under 24 hours to the flight out and flying back on the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving, usually quite a busy time in the US!! It cost the missus and I about $2k for a pair of return tickets in summer 2017.
