Toffee Apples
For informational purposes only :
Okay folks, for all of you that have been asking about toffee apples lately (where to purchase, how to make etc...), I thought I would give you the details of the packet mix that I buy (and just bought! ) to make your own, truly authentic, teeth breaking, British style ones.
It's made by Concord foods (based in concord, Ma) and can be found in several different grocery stores, I've now found it in Super Walmart and my local grocery store, P & C.
It's called a 'candy apple' kit and is packaged in a red and white box which is always located right next to the apples. It's easy to do and they are the exactly the same as the ones you would get at home.
So, anyone for a 'three word story'!
