Incase you're wondering I subscribe to a lot of the UK newspapers in bloglines, I scroll through the headlines and pick out the ones that seem interesting.

This one stuck out, for obvious reasons!

I find that collecting the info together takes more time than filling in the forms, even if I file a manual return.

I'm sure that'll be true for us as we're not super organised at the best of times, this will be our first year filing returns here.

We tried one year, to put anything with a tax consequence, like a doctor bill, into a tax file through the year. You could guarantee that we would go nuts because it wasn't in the medical file when we needed it for an insurance dispute, eventually remembering it was in the tax file.
