Up until today I have felt like I was just on vacation, with Christmas, grandbabys first birthday, brother visiting and then New Year it seems that everyday has been some kind of celebration!
So today we started a project and I worked harder than I have for years, although mostly I was supervisor/snack/ drinks person. We are tearing up our back deck and rebuilding it. This time it will be covered in. The original deck has been down since we moved in so probably about 30 years and it was hard work pulling it up. So my job is now more flexible, and afternoon naps are allowed . We stopped for a late lunch and then the rain started so it was a short work day. I like retirement!
