Those idiots alway make me laugh ... I just reply to them asking for their bank account details first so I can set up some sort of transfer ?

My friend's husband was actually going to respond to one of these. She made him ask me first. I couldn't believe it.

Now, as to why I am the expert on Nigerian bank scams....

This did make me laugh, but also made me think of a story. I felt sorry for a girl in one of my classes a few months ago. She was a quiet, nice girl from Korea who was only in the US for a short time - and she sent $$ to someone online who claimed to need help. I'm guessing she had never run into anything like that before. Apparently after sending some money the receiver wanted more, and she wised up. My professor told her to tell the person asking for the money this time to turn up at school during our class to collect. Sad that people take advantage of others' wish to help in this way.

Though that's a bit different from "I desperately want to send you millions!" I bet I've received 5 of those e-mails. Scary ...
