I wasn't expecting them to win the challenge or beat the weight target. They did good.
I think they use some special tactic to lose weight by crying! Seriously have you ever seen a show with so much crying, it's ridiculous. The one lady who's family was all killed in a car accident is allowed to cry as much as she wants. The rest of them need to get a grip.
Yes, there were some impressive moobs on display. Unfortunately they don't seem to go when the weight goes either.

I'm sure they will...try again later. Some channels make the you wait 24 hrs before they make the programs available online.

I will definitely be trying again later, i'm looking forward to watching it. I saw a preview for a new show called 'Eastwick' it looked like it might be worth a look-see?

I like the mentalist too, but I think I may have to catch up with that show thru' the web, Lie to me is another one I watched last season, I thought it was pretty good.

I was impressed that they all made it on those balance beams to get the weight loss target reduced, I was also happy to see the guy (who's partner got kicked out) redeem himself in the weigh in, I'm still not sure about him, he seems to be half-assed about the exercising part.

I can understand the emotional side, especially with the calls home, but it does get a little trying at times, completely agree with you about the lady that lost her hubby/kids in the car accident, I am rooting for her and hope she can stay for the long haul, her story made me sob :(

You could try Hulu.com

I'll take a look at Eastwick. The Mentalist and Lie to Me...I'm not that impressed with either...if there's nothing else on I will watch them but I don't bother to record them.

The problem at this time of year is trying to watch and keep up with all the new programs because they all start the same week or so. If I miss the first few episodes I find I don't bother at all with that particular series.

Yeah, why can't they just spread them out throughout the year, instead of showing reruns for most of the time!

the problem is, they don't give some shows a chance by moving time slots so a lot of good shows get canned leaving room for old dross that's been around for years but are a dead cert, CSI, ghost whisperer, NCIS, Greys etc...

Of course we'll never all agree about what's dross. From your list above, I love NCIS, quite like CSI but think Greys and the Ghost Widdler are toss.

That said, I very much agree with your broader point. The Unusuals, Angel, ST Enterprise, Firefly - all killed before their time. :(

I liked NCIS and CSI....I just think that they've been on for too long that the stories became stale and the shows aren't what they were originally about when they first started....bit like Casulty in the UK :D

I tried to watch Mercy...could only take about 15 mins of it. Bad acting, bad lines...just plain crap.:thumbdown:

Eastwick...smacks of poor version of Desperate Housewives crossed with The Ghost Whisperer. Picture postcard town...the trees in fall colours and wisteria in full bloom. So far I'm not impressed.

Criminal Minds...brilliant as usual.

Eastwick was pretty cheesy and the bloke looks like he has a stroke trying to do the Nickleson snear, but I'm willing to give it a go.

Criminal Minds was a bit lame I thought, very samey samey....but I'll still watch it.

Plenty of shows recorded though for later viewing.

I have Eastwick taped and NCSI, I watched Mercy, agree with you JG, not that impressed I will give it one more chance though, I was hoping it would make up for me still missing ER :o

Looking forward to the first CSI, the previews got me excited, lots of gunshots! :) Sad I know, but I like Ghost whisperer and Medium :)

The OH recorded Flash Forward. It's about the whole world blacking out at the same time for the same duration. Nearly everyone in it is English lol.
I really liked it a lot.
