I quite like Dirty Jobs, I really like the presenter, he's very comical!

I really enjoyed Heroes - although some of the stuff the cheerleader did made me wince!

I glad that I've learned how new seasons work here now - after being surprised last year when new shows were cancelled after just a few episodes!

There was a fab, quirky little show called Love Monkey last year - which got cancelled after about 6 episodes - I loved it and was really disappointed.

Anyone watch Stand off? It's not bad, a bit cheesy though...

and how's this new series of Bones? I saw the first series, it was okay, but haven't bothered with this second one..

yeah, a lot of good shows get canned rather than moved to a better time slot and long running shite shows keep on going...

and not much new tele coming up with halloween, thanks giving, super bowl and then x-mas...the specials are just repeated shows with perhaps reduced commercial breaks...gets very hard to follow some shows, and makes them last for ever...

I always remember the first casaulty of the chopping block which got me was a comedy called Hidden Hills. I thought it was great, and they waited until there were only 4 episodes left to show before axing it.

Get yourself on Bit Torrent with a decent computer. Tons of good stuff on there that'll help you decide which DVDs to buy.

O God the repeats!!

We actually gave up watching the second series of Lost because they'd go weeks without showing the next episode and show repeats of previous episodes instead.

We're going to buy the DVD and have a "Lost" weekend (or two) instead!

Save yourself the money & just get Netflix. We really wanted to watch Lost when it started but we're always out when it was on & didn't have our DVR, so now we're catching up with the help of Netflix, it's a great show.

I caught this on the Sundance Channel the other day: Monkey Dust, weird but very funny if you like that sort of thing.

Other than that, the usual Amazing Race, House, My Name is Earl, The Office (much better than any other US comedy although completely different than the UK one in my opinion in that it seems to play like a scripted sitcom rather than a documentary) - not much else really.

Well finally saw Hero's lastnight and the first episode, and I really liked it...finger scene was a bit twitchy though :D

So anything new over the last week or so?

Yeah, cool ending to last night's episode too. A sci fi nerd friend has some interesting theories to all the happenings, funny how so much can pass you by when you don't know what you're looking at. :D
